On the last Monday of the Term we had a Teddy Bear's Picnic. We all brought our teddy bears and a plate of food to share. Mr. Koeck kindly took the food up to the top field for us. We had so much food!
It was Tate's birthday and his Dad brought a cake for him to share with us all. We all sang happy birthday to him.
We had a surprise visit from the man in red who had a lolly scramble for us. It was a lovely way to finish off the term.

Our Swimming Demonstration and Team 1 and 2 Tryathlon
On Wednesday the 4th of December which was our last day of swimming lessons, all the parents were invited to come and watch our lessons. A lot of parents took up the opportunity. Thanks to Paige's Mum for these photos. The parents were amazed at how much progress everyone had made. The pool are also offering swimming lessons during the holidays.
On Friday the 6th of December we held our tryathlon down at the Domain. We bussed down and started with the swim, then did the cycling or scootering and lastly the run. Everyone tried so hard and can be proud of what they did.
Here are some of our stories which were published in the Coming Events Newsletter this week.
Jack: Back last Friday we went on the bus to the tryathlon. The first challenge was swimming. I was first in my swimming team and I was proud. I hope that everybody had a good time too and I was second in the running.

Team One and Two Tabloids
On Friday Team One and Two had Tabloid Sports on the top field. We were really lucky because Room 15 had organised all the activities and took us around the 12 different stations. We had lots of fun and the Room 15 students were fantastic helpers. Thank you Miss Kennedy and Room 15.
Maths This Week
For Maths this week we have been studying Probability. We have been learning to use everyday language to talk about chance and to classify events as certain, possible or impossible.
On Monday we listened to the story of Little Red Riding Hood and then looked at a set of pictures and had to decide if Little Red Riding Hood will, might or won't see the objects on her way to Grandma's cottage.
The next day we read Cinderella and then got into groups and sorted pictures into whether she would be certain, or it would be possible or impossible to see the objects.
Today we read the story about Maui and the sun and did an independent activity.
Our School Leaders's Last Visit
Every Tuesday this year Micah and Brady have come to our class after lunch on a Tuesday to talk about the values. After that we sometimes play a game. Since Tuesday was their last time they wanted to do something special so they made some fantastic little reindeer with us. Fenella helped too. The reindeer were so yummy. Thank you Micah and Brady for helping Room 2 all year.
