Jamie McDell Comes to South School

Today Jamie McDell came to Dannevirke South School.  She is a singer-song writer from Auckland who wrote her first song when she was seven years old.  Her album that was released last year is called  Six Strings and a Sailboat.  Brady welcomed her in the morning.



We were lucky enough to have our photo taken with her and to have her come and talk to Team 1 about her singing.  She also helped the people who have bigger singing parts in the production and took a workshop about writing songs.





In the afternoon we had an assembly. She sang for us and answered lots of questions.  Fenella and Micah thanked her and gave her a thank you present.
